Durante i miei viaggi e le mie esposizione ho creato una specie di spaccatura nelle idee delle gente.
Una spaccatura che spero aver colmato con le mie spiegazioni.
Difficile è far capire le proprie idee alle persone, specialmente se queste sono apparentemente senza senso.
La verità è che i miei tagli ricuciti sono per me un universo e riesco a dialogare solamente con loro.
Con loro vado direttamente al succo del discorso.
Solitamente parlo attraverso la mia pittura di disagi sociali oppure più profondamente di emozioni personali.
La mia arte è prevalentemente interpretativa, sicuramente non è sempre facilmente interpretabile, comunque a me piace così.
Ciò che ha fatto di me una caratteristica personale è il mio modo di dipingere e di interpretare arte.

Mirco Guardabassi
Self-taught artist from Umbria, born on December 1978 in Umbertide, he first approached painting at the age of fifteen.
A dynamic painter, he is dedicated to the study of mixed media painting and sculpture.
Mixed media painting is the technique that has conditioned him most.

During my travels and exhibitions I've seen that my works provoke very different reactions, contrasts that I hope my explanations help to overcome.
It's difficult to make one's ideas understood, especially if at first they seem senseless.
The truth is that my sewn up cuts represent a universe to me and I can communicate only through them.
Through them I can go directly to the hub of things.
Usually my paintings express social hardships or, more profoundly, personal emotions.
My art is mainly interpretive, certainly not always easy to understand, but that's my way of expressing myself.
My outstanding characteristic as an artist is the way I paint and interpret art.
